What this site is
High School to Trades (highschooltotrades.com) is a free, non-commercial website. It helps high school students and parents look up union apprenticeships and trade schools. We gather information that programs, unions, schools, and government agencies have already published, and we link to the original source. We don't rate, rank, or recommend any program.
Information only, no guarantees
Nothing on this site guarantees admission, a job, an apprenticeship spot, pay, or any cost. Each program sets its own rules, dates, pay, and costs, and they can change.
Accuracy and dates
We try to be accurate and we show where each figure came from and the date we checked it. Information can still be out of date or wrong. If anything here differs from the original source, the original source is correct. Always check with the program, union, or school before you decide. We link to websites we don't control. Career videos come from CareerOneStop, which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor. "Add to Google Calendar" links take you to Google. Unions, schools, and programs are named only so you can identify them. Their names belong to their owners. We're not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
